UPDATE: MGM Mirage Profit Falls As Consumer Spending Slows (Nasdaq)
CHICAGO (Dow Jones) -- Higher costs, the temporary closing of the Monte Carlo and a decrease in revenue on the Las Vegas Strip driven by the consumer slowdown dragged down MGM Mirage's first-quarter profit, the casino giant said Tuesday.
