Question by UJ: Anyone hear anything about a new hotel in Vegas for Filipino workers only?
My wife, a filipina, said she saw an ad on TFC about a new hotel in Vegas that is looking exclusively for Filipino workers. The hotel is still under construction, but she said the owner is willing to pay for workers to come from the Philippines, and they pay him back through their wages.
Anyone know anything about this? Thanks!
Phoenix do you remember the name of the hotel? Is it too late for someone to have a chance to get there?

Y’all are going to be really surprised to find out that this is true. Most of my responses, I posted it in 2 different places, are from Americans and they automatically think scam, or give a smartass remark. Just can’t believe that anyone would want to pick another nationality over us. Wake up people, Americans are usually rude and grude.
Now about that bridge in San Francisco (Iowa isn’t it).

In my experience Virgin Airlines has the cheapest tickets, (got mine at 49 dollars) but you have to go to the website, meaning there are not packages. You can also go to traveladvisor.com and it will compare all websites like expedia and hotels.com with one click.

My trial has expired and I need to burn my edit and burn my State History Day project by Friday. My parents don’t want to spend the $ 550. Is there anyway I can download it again to have another trial?

Things I have tried:
Just downloading it again, after I deleted the expired one
Switching users on this computer
Switching computers (the other one was too old for the program)
Trying an earlier version of Sony Vegas Pro (the new and old version can’t share files)

From LV Metro, Henderson and North las Vegas. It seems like its who you know and not what you know. It’s ridiculous they say to tell you the truth then they bar you from employment. Do they want you to lie about your prior drug history? I am 100% positive there are cops that have smoked marijuana on the job here for go’s sake. They don’t give alot of people a chance and its ridiculous.

the boyfriend and i are going to Vegas for new years from Austin (maybe we can do from Houston too) and everywhere we’ve looked so far is $ 300 and up. We might drive if we can’t find anything else.
We already have a place to stay as well.

If you think the flights are expensive try booking the rooms. The rates are through the roof. Most hotels are booked well in advance. If I were you I’d do a package deal thru Expedia or Travelocity. Even a package deal will be expensive. New Years is the hottest time of year here in Vegas. Good luck.

Regardless of all the TV commercials you see, booking and purchasing directly from the airline’s web site is usually the cheapest. Book as far in advance as possible to get the best deal. After you purchase your tickets, go to a web site called Yapta. http://yapta.com/ and sign up.
It’s a free service that that checks the price of your airfare several times a day and notifies you if there is any significant drop in price. This gives you the option to obtain a refund, or exchange your tickets if the price drops, or if the airline runs a special. They saved me almost $ 200 last summer on airfare for my wife and I.

I have seen a framed Reggie White jersey (away jersey) hanging in the background of many scenes on the History Channel’s Pawn Stars. I’m curious to know how much they are asking for this item. I have read several reviews online of the shop, both positive and negative, and would just like to get a feel of pricing before making a trip to their shop all the way from Ohio.

My personal bet depends on the year made… follow below.

If it was made before 2005 and is not stained $ 95.00
If it was after 2005 and is not stained $ 120.50

If it has holes/scratches/deep.minor.major stains/bad coloring then subtract $ 20.00
IF IT IS AUTOGRAPHED ADD $ 25.00

Highest price: $ 145.50 plus tax Don’t worry that would be how much they would buy it or anyone would!

These passes can be many things but VIP passes they never are you wont ever avoid the line with these passes you may get sent to a different line and it may waive or discount the cover but VIP no way. have a look at nitetours this in my opinion is the best way to club in Vegas, it is owned by a friend of mine but its a great deal and a great night out. http://vegasuncovered.wordpress.com/2009/02/10/nitetours-launches-the-ultimate-glamorous-ladies-night-in-las-vegas/

Here you go!! This ticket center is area over vegas and they have little stands throughout the strip you can go to when you’re in town to purchase las vegas show tickets etc. I don’t know if you meant show tickets but if so, this is the place to get them for good prices!
