I do not want to spend a lot of money on a hotel when I stay in Vegas, but want it to be on the strip. I saw that the Circus Circus offers rooms for a little more than $ 20 a night during weekdays. Are there any other hotels you could recommend to me for a price range of up to $ 35 per night during weekdays?

I would want the room to be clean. Kind of had a bad experience with a room like that before.

Imperial Palace. It’s across the street from Caesar’s Palace and has really inexpensive rates. Smoking rooms have balconies.

Or, you can try Stratosphere. But the reason it’s so cheap is because its at the very END of the strip.

Check with your hotel also-they often offer discounted tickets. And they have kiosks in Vegas that sell deeply discounted on day of show. The mag they leave in your room-whats happening in las vegas-has much info also.

Do you know of any good websites to buy show tickets in Vegas? Are they all about the same price? We are wanting to see Tina N Tony’s wedding and Bette Midler…Have you seen any of those shows or do you have any places to recommend for us to visit while we are in vegas.

There are lots of sites that sell Vegas show tickets. Your safest bet is to buy your tickets directly from the hotel box office that are running the show. In your case, Ceasers Palace and Rio All Suite.
If you wait till your get to Vegas, you might get the tickets for half price at the half price booths along the strip. However there is no guarantees those tickets will be on sale for half price. Here is more information.

I may be going to Las Vegas midweek in September or October. Any suggestions about the best low limit poker games say 200$ buy in or less? Holdem’ and No Limit Holdem’ of course.

I was there in January and the best action I found, in the range that you’re looking for, was at the Grand and the Mirage. Both locations spread a $ 1-$ 2 No Limit, as well as $ 2-$ 5 No Limit. I was thoroughly impressed with the MGM Grand, however. The location of the poker room entices alot of action from passersby.

I’m looking to reserve a quick one-night stay at a hotel on the Las Vegas strip. Nothing too fancy, just something in the Luxor / Monte Carlo, etc. range for under $ 100/night on a weekday. I’m looking to travel in about two weeks, when are the rates cheapest?

On sites such as Hotwire and Priceline, do the prices usually go down even more as the date approaches or are they about as low as they go right now?

You can actually get great deal at hotels right on the strip. Check out the MGM Grand, Monte Carlo & the Luxor they have great deals for October. Book early.
