You can actually get great deal at hotels right on the strip. Check out the MGM Grand, Monte Carlo & the Luxor they have great deals for October. Book early.

I’ve been on southwest and jetblue website and I thought the tickets were expensive.Maybe it’s too long since I been to Vegas, but almost $ 200 for roundtrip? I want to leave friday night and return Sunday night. This will be for the end of June. Is there any other website I can purchase a cheaper ticket? Is 200 what i should expect to pay?

the low cost carriers havent had good deals lately, i bought a round trip ticket from american for $ 220 from new mexico to tennesee, if you ask me thats a pretty good price. with enough time, you can get round trip for a little over $ 100

I am going to las vegas for a competition and i need a hotel room for 2, with resturants in or nearby, something close to the las vegas convention center would be good since i am going to have to walk there. Safe area, Low price on room. Rooms with a kitchen, air conditioning, cable tv would be a plus.

The best way to get a great deal is to check sites like Southwest airlines or US Airways. Also do a search on kayak engine. It will check all airlines going to Vegas and all major travel sites and return the cheapest fare. http://www.lasvegas-how-to.com/cheap-flights.php

check out travelocity’s website. They have a link called low fare alert. I use that. Also check out southwest.com. I fly them all the time to Las Vegas and they have decent prices and great service. Good Luck
