I've heard that the best and most reliable way to get discounts on shows in Vegas is to get codes from the hotels. Do you actually have to stay at those hotels or can you just get them anyway? I am interested in attending a Cirque de Soleil show while I am in Vegas this summer and I am pretty flexible with showtimes. How do I get the discounts from hotels?

Last time I was in Vegas, the first thing I did for about an hour was relax and watch this TV show in the hotel room that was basically an 'insider' type show, giving you a tour of what to do and see in Vegas. Very cool channel. I think it may have been called "the 6" or something along those lines.
Does anyone remember what the channel is called? I'm sure it's broadcast in all Vegas Hotel's channel lineups. I tried googling it, but haven't gotten any results.

I'm going on a vacation to Las Vegas in the next week and need to plan now. I'm looking for some cheap hotels in and around the Las Vegas Strip or even some online hotel coupons? Where can I get the coupons or the best deals??
