I’ve heard that the best and most reliable way to get discounts on shows in Vegas is to get codes from the hotels. Do you actually have to stay at those hotels or can you just get them anyway? I am interested in attending a Cirque de Soleil show while I am in Vegas this summer and I am pretty flexible with showtimes. How do I get the discounts from hotels?

Last time I was in Vegas, the first thing I did for about an hour was relax and watch this TV show in the hotel room that was basically an ‘insider’ type show, giving you a tour of what to do and see in Vegas. Very cool channel. I think it may have been called “the 6″ or something along those lines.
Does anyone remember what the channel is called? I’m sure it’s broadcast in all Vegas Hotel’s channel lineups. I tried googling it, but haven’t gotten any results.

Great Hotels Season 2 – Episode 29: The Venetian, Las Vegas

I’m going on a vacation to Las Vegas in the next week and need to plan now. I’m looking for some cheap hotels in and around the Las Vegas Strip or even some online hotel coupons? Where can I get the coupons or the best deals??

I was wondering how cold is the cold water that comes out of Las Vegas Hotels?
Is it warm because it’s warm there?

I need to know if anyone knows from EXPERIENCE if its cheaper to book a hotel online for Vegas hotels or at the hotel, the day off. I am looking at Treasure Island or whatever is on the strip.
The reason I ask is because I figure hotels need to unload hotel rooms the day off and I might be able to get it cheaper than booking online.

I’ve never seen more hotels in one city than in Vegas. Does anybody know how many people can stay in Las Vegas (therefore maximum capacity), if all hotels were running 100% occupancy.

I’ve heard that people like Elvis Presley & Marilyn Monroe have been known to haunt some Las Vegas hotels. But I can’t remember the names of those hotels. If anyone out there knows the hotels’ names, could they please answer?
