Question by Amanda: Should I book my las vegas hotel last minute?
We are planning on going on our honeymoon Jan 11-15. I am probably going to go ahead and book my flight now, but do you think I could get the best rates like the week before I go or later? Or should I go ahead and book a package. I just want to get the best deal. Also, do you think it’s possible to get any free upgrades or stuff since it’s our honeymoon?

Best answer:

Answer by tjdepere2003
Book as soon as carrier and dates decided. Honeymoon? So what they come here by the load.
Just make sure your weekdays are cheaper than weekend.

Question by Ben: Which Las Vegas Hotel should I stay in?
My best friend and I are going to Vegas in September and we are trying to decide which hotel is best for us. We have narrowed it down to the Monte Carlo, Luxor, or New York, New York…

We want to be in a fun place with a younger crowd and have no idea which of these are our best bet.

Best answer:

Answer by Joe
Don’t stay in the Luxor. The service is soooo bad. You will never be able to even get a coke while gaming, unless you actually grab the arm of a waiter (which I did). My room was very beat up, torn carpeting, stains in the tub. I could not believe this Hotel was made so cheaply. It is only a few years old! LOL. My wife and I went to other casinos and found we were treated with so much respect, so friendly waiters that came back to check on us again and again. We made up our minds never to go back to Luxor. We prefer the Riviera, but we don’t have kids.

My friend and I are spending 3 full days in Las Vegas without a rental car. We’re staying in the middle of the strip. It’s our first time there. Monorail tickets are cheaper if you buy them all at once, but I have no idea how many we’ll need. Should we just get all day passes? Help!

Best answer:

Answer by Kat
The strip is great, unless you have an issue with walking around you shouldn’t really need any. Everything is pretty much connected. I never got any when I went.

Answer by ohsuplauren
Stay in a cheaper hotel unles you want a sweet room. It doesn’t make sense to spend a ton of money on a room you’ll hardly be in.

Question by Sam: I am going to Las Vegas. What events or places should I see? What is a good hotel to stay at?
I am taking a vacation to Las Vegas during the first week of June. I have never been. I am looking for any suggestions on what should I see or visit? Do you have any recommendations as to what hotel we should stay at? I am taking my girlfriend who turns 21 the day we arrive and my 19 year old brother . I am 21 also. We are looking for places to drink and have fun. I am interested in History, my brother likes Animals and girlfriends likes basically anything. So any suggestions or ideas is appreciated. Thank you!

Answer by djkillu
well depending on how long you will be in the room don’t spend too much if you are just going to sleep if that’s the case just stay at the sahara it’s cheap in all senses of the word, if you want to stay in a nice hotel I recommend the signature at mgm I love it.
go and watch penn and teller at the rio or watch bite it’s sexy, the wax museum is a good way to burn some time and then go shopping at neiman marcus, my fave. You have to eat at the buffet in the wynn and have breakfast at hash house a go go it is awesome and you won’t be hungry for like 3 days. The sahara has the nascar cafe with the b3 burrito it’s 6lbs. good luck on that.
A great place to have dinner is in Gallagher’s in new york new york. buy the 3day ticket for the monorail you’ll be glad you did

Question by svbaseballer7: What time should I get to tix4tonight in Vegas to get the best show tickets?
I got some advice on here that I should go to tix4tonight in Vegas on the day of the show to get cheap tickets to Cirque du Soleil shows. Does anybody know what time I should show up there in the morning to get tickets before they sell out? What time do people usually start lining up? They open at 10 am everyday. And I’ll be there on weekdays during the first week in March, if that makes any difference.

Best answer:

Answer by Chip O
They actually open at 11am but the shows for the day are posted at 9:30am. My advise is to get there at 9:30 and if your shows are on the list, stand in line right away. There are no guarantees Cirque du Soleil show tickets will be on sale but there is no way to find out until that morning.

What do you think? Answer below!

Not just part of the formula. How about a major part. I think they put Georgia and USC ranked 1 and 2 before bowl season.

Answer by jpayne1324
I think it should be. They are willing to put millions of dollars on the line. You are wrong about Georgia and USC though. On nuetral fields they had LSU favored over every team. Oklahoma was second.

Im surprising my husband with a trip to vegas in January for his 25th birthday. Neither of us drink, so the main reason for going is the shows! Id like to see at least a couple of them so if you can suggest some inexpensive and the best shows to see, I’d greatly appreciate it. I definately want to see a good magic show and we’re also interested in mystery and comedy. Thanks again!

Best answer:

Answer by BDub
You can’t go to Vegas without seeing at least one Cirque du Soleil show…. there are so many great ones running right now. “O” has been running at Bellagio forever, but The Wynn has a newer one called “La Reve” (The Dream), “LOVE” is a Beatles themed show at Mirage, and New York, New York has “Zumanity” which is supposed to be a little sexier than some of the others. I highly recommend going to see any Cirque du Soleil show , they are well worth the money. (But “O” and “La Reve” are my favorites).

Other than that, Criss Angel performs at Luxor, The Amazing Jonathan performs at Planet Hollywood, and Pen & Teller perform at Rio…. I have heard mixed reviews of these though.

Hope this helps!

Question by maggiejo717: Should I buy passes for Vegas clubs online?
Ok, I am going to Vegas in a week! I wanted to ask if anyone has bought the club passes online and if they are worth it. We want to go to a club every night and if I could cut down on the $ 40 entry fee that would be great. Its me and my friend (2 girls) let me know what you think on the passes…..??? Thanks!

Best answer:

Answer by Ronnie
If you want to hit the nightclubs, you can rely on guest lists or take a nightclub tour. I work with a company that provides nightclub tours for 59 dollars (men are 69 dollars). It includes being transported from club to club via a party limo bus, free drinks on the bus, no cover charges to the clubs, no waiting in line and a VIP host. The tour consists of 4 clubs total. For example, Saturday you would arrive at a ultra lounge and then be transported to 3 other nightclubs throughout the night (ie: PURE, LAX, STUDIO 54, etc.). This is probably the most inexpensive way to have a good time without waiting in line, paying steep cover charges for each club and paying for drinks throughout the night.
