Q&A: Best time to reserve a Las Vegas hotel room?
Question by Daniel Y: Best time to reserve a Las Vegas hotel room?
I’m looking to reserve a quick one-night stay at a hotel on the Las Vegas strip. Nothing too fancy, just something in the Luxor / Monte Carlo, etc. range for under $ 100/night on a weekday. I’m looking to travel in about two weeks, when are the rates cheapest?
On sites such as Hotwire and Priceline, do the prices usually go down even more as the date approaches or are they about as low as they go right now?
Thanks for your help!

What is the funnest day time activity in las Vegas?
Question by eec9: What is the funnest day time activity in las Vegas?
I’m turning 21 this year and I’m going to Vegas in September. I like to do super tourist things so what is the best thing to do during the day time that’s less than 20$ . I wanted to go visit that store on the show pawn stars on history channel but I heard the line wraps around the block . Has anyone ever tried going there?

I’ve never been to that store. Some things you can do are view the Glass display and Fine Arts Gallery at the Bellagio.

What time should I get to tix4tonight in Vegas to get the best show tickets?
Question by svbaseballer7: What time should I get to tix4tonight in Vegas to get the best show tickets?
I got some advice on here that I should go to tix4tonight in Vegas on the day of the show to get cheap tickets to Cirque du Soleil shows. Does anybody know what time I should show up there in the morning to get tickets before they sell out? What time do people usually start lining up? They open at 10 am everyday. And I’ll be there on weekdays during the first week in March, if that makes any difference.
Best answer:
Answer by Chip O
They actually open at 11am but the shows for the day are posted at 9:30am. My advise is to get there at 9:30 and if your shows are on the list, stand in line right away. There are no guarantees Cirque du Soleil show tickets will be on sale but there is no way to find out until that morning.

Is this the best time in history for a poker pro to play in Vegas?
Question by Richard S. from Vermont: Is this the best time in history for a poker pro to play in Vegas?
This is a great time for a poker shark to play poker in Las Vegas, because poker is more popular than ever before, which means there are tons of beginners who are lousy poker players. Do you think the competition in Vegas will eventually stiffen? Or do you think there will always be tons of bad poker players in the distant future?

Question by ask4janice: buy Blue Man Group Las Vegas tickets ahead of time or the day of?
just wondering if its smarter to buy tickets online with a promotional code before we fly to Vegas or once we’re down there, can you find deals?
Best answer:
Answer by Chip O
It’s always better to buy show tickets ahead of time if you find discounts online. Buying when you get there will be more expensive and you are taking a chance you might not get the seats you want.
